Robert Beauchemin, former CEO of SAP Canada, joins the RVBS team

MONTREAL, July 12th, 2006 - Rolland Virtual Business Systems Ltd. (TSX-VE : VBS) has announced that Robert Beauchemin, former CEO of SAP Canada, has been hired as a consultant to the Company. Mr. Beauchemin will assist and advise RVBS with its IT division operations, especially with their sales and marketing efforts.

The Company also announces the departure of Michael Tinmouth who was hired as a consultant in March 2006 and has held since then the position of COO. During his brief contract, Mr. Tinmouth has made a valuable and significant contribution to RVBS.

The Company believes that Mr. Beauchemin will be a major asset for the software division of the Company. He has more than 30 years experience in the technology industry. His professional background shows great leadership as well as a thorough knowledge of national and international technology markets. As a CEO, Mr. Beauchemin has helped many high tech companies grow in highly competitive environments. In 2002, he became CEO of Polyplan Technologies; a private company, which he helped turn around and grow before selling it to Parametric Technology Corporation.

Mr. Beauchemin is an expert in business structuring and strategic planning. He will assist RVBS in improving its business plan and implementing strategies to maximize the value of its IT division. He will also help RVBS to increase its financing capacity.
